Dr. Nathanael Tran, WETIA’s Director of Development, represented the organization at the International Council for Evangelical Theological Education (ICETE) Consultation in Turkey from November 14-18, 2022. ICETE is the leading global evangelical network for theological education. WETIA is an active contributor to the ICETE network in the area of technology, particularly supporting the majority world.

At the consultation, WETIA supported the media and communications team of the conference, with Dr. Tran working together with the media and communications team from the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA). WETIA’s primary contribution was in the technological realm, and the team successfully documented key moments and interviews from the event.

As an Associate Member of ICETE, WETIA has a longstanding involvement in the consultations, participating in the last six events dating back to the 2006 gathering in Chiang Mai. In previous conferences, WETIA has conducted workshops on education technology and introduced participating schools to WETIA’s integrated LMS-SIS platform, EdBrite.
