WETIA Executive Director Dr. Walker Tzeng hosted a workshop at the 77^th ABHE Annual Meeting on Friday February 16, 2024. The workshop is entitled “AI and Theology: Utilizing ChatGPT for Theological Education” focused on the application of ChatGPT in theological discussions.

Dr. Tzeng presentation featured a review of research on the advantages and challenges of using ChatGPT in theological settings. During the workshop, attendees engaged in a thought-providing discussion on the appropriate use of artificial intelligence, it’s future in theology, and educational application in Bible colleges.

The workshop was a part of WETIA’s ongoing research into artificial intelligence and theology.
