February 14, 2014

The World Evangelical Theological Institute Association (WETIA) has completed a 2 unit graduate course on education technology in collaboration with the European Evangelical Accrediting Association (EEAA) and the London School of Theology (LST).

The two units are entitled “E-Learning and Web-based Tools” and “Effective E-learning: Limitations, Potentialities, and Challenges”. They cover a variety of topics in education technology, online education, building courses, and future trends in education. Each units cover approximately 12 hours of lectures, activities, and readings.

Currently enrolled students have been recruited from around the world by the EEAA and LST for their M.A. in Theological Education. Response to the units have been excellent with students writing their own blog responses and interacting with WETIA Executive Director Walker Tzeng on various topics in education technology.

WETIA agreed to do the courses for EEAA and LST to gain experience in developing its own faculty training module in education technology in the future.
